Chris Bowlby is the SVP of Sales for Soundrise, the leading podcast advertising network representing the best in mission-driven, public media audio content featuring podcasts such as TED Talks Daily, The New Yorker Radio Hour, Song Exploder and high quality storytelling broadcast shows such This American Life. Working closely in partnership with publishers PRX, Radiotopia, Conde Nast, Resolute Square, and TED, Chris leads a national sales team responsible for creating advertising partnerships and results-oriented podcast marketing campaigns with advertising agencies and brands. Previously, Chris has held sales and management leadership roles with Libsyn Ads, The Information, Spotify, Flipboard, The New York Times and Time, Inc. Prior to his digital career, Chris led numerous broadcast sales teams in the cable television and broadcast radio industries. His professional passions include building effective sales teams, mentoring young media professionals and collaborating with advertiser clients to create successful business outcomes.
